Single-Use Stickers & Brush Ties
Generic paper yard waste bags and brush ties are sold individually. Single-use refuse and yard waste stickers for bags and cans are sold in sheets of five in most grocery, hardware, and discount stores throughout the City. Refuse, yard waste, and brush ties can be purchased individually or in sheets of five at City Hall at 50 W. 13th St.
- Single-use extra trash stickers cost $2 each or a sheet of five for $10.
- Single-use yard waste stickers cost $1.50 each or a sheet of five for $7.50.
- Brush ties cost $1.50 each.
Annual Yard Waste Decals
Annual yard waste decals are available:
Regular weekly collection of yard waste runs from April - November and is collected the same day as your trash and recycling. The cost of each annual yard waste decal is as follows:
- $40 - January 1 - June 30
- $20 - July 1 - August 31
- $10 - September 1 - December 31
Winter yard waste/food scraps are collected by appointment on your regular collection day from Dec. 1 - March 31. Customers must call 563-589-4250 or submit an online service request no later than 3 p.m. the previous business day. The annual yard waste decals can also be used during the City’s Merry Mulch Program.
