Leisure Services

**ATTENTION: The Leisure Services Department, including offices at Bunker Hill, Multicultural Family Center, Comiskey Park Building, Allison-Henderson Park Building and the Pet Park, is CLOSED to the public until at least July 5th. Leisure Services Department staff continue to work and provide services to the public electronically, by phone, and by mail. All Leisure Services activities and programs are cancelled until further notice, and refunds are being issued. Get all the most up-to-date information on COVID-19.

IMPORTANT BROCHURE ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to the ever-changing situation surrounding COVID-19, we are delaying the mailing of our Summer Activity Brochure and registration dates. Once new dates are established, we will immediately post them on our website and social media. We appreciate your patience and cooperation with us during this time.

The Leisure Services Department, through the Park Division and Recreation Division, provides quality services to the entire community with diverse recreational programs for all ages and an integrated, efficient, and safe system of parks, trails, and recreational facilities.

The department also plans, develops, and maintains the formal public landscaping and natural areas in and around the City, demonstrating an appreciation for the environment.
In an effort to be a more accessible and equitable City department, the Leisure Services Department is open later than other City offices so that hopefully more individuals/families will have the opportunity to be served in-person. Our office hours are Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Administrative staff such as Managers and Program Supervisors may be available via phone as early as 8:00 a.m.
If you do not currently receive a mailed Leisure Services brochure and would like to be notified when they become available, please click here to sign up.
