Water Rates

Ordinance No.7-17 effective July 1, 2019, establishes rates to be charged for water for residential, commercial, industrial and all other uses and purposes by any person, firm or corporation within the City shall be based on units of one-hundred cubic feet (748 gallons) or per gallon. Ordinance No. 5-10 effective February 1, 2010, authorizes billing in gallons as opposed to one-hundred cubic feet.

Minimum Monthly Charge

The minimum monthly charge according to the size of meter shall be as follows:

A $7.00 minimum monthly charge will be assessed for meters not in service.

A property owner shall pay a $50.00 disconnect fee for water service that is disconnected by city staff (meter not in service). When a tenant account is subject to disconnection due to delinquency, the tenant shall pay the $50.00 disconnect fee.
  

Fire Protection Rates


Ordinance No. 8-17 effective for billings beginning July 1, 2019, establishes water rates for fire sprinkler service.

Sewer Rates


Ordinance No. 10-17 effective for billings beginning July 1, 2019, establishes sewage service charges on the quantity of water used. Ordinance No. 6-10 effective February 1, 2010, authorizes billing in gallons as opposed to one-hundred cubic feet.

Refuse Rates

Ordinance No. 9-17 effective for the billings beginning July 1, 2019 establishes refuse charges as follows:
Refuse rates per month: $15.62 per single family dwelling

Stormwater Rates


Ordinance No. 16-14 effective for the billings beginning July 1, 2014 establishes stormwater management charges as follows: Stormwater rates shall be $8.29 per SFU (see notes below)
  • Single-Family Unit (SFU) means the average impervious (non-absorbent) area of a single-family residential property located within the City.
  • One SFU = 2,917 square feet of impervious property.
  • Charges are computed on large residential and nonresidential property based on the number of SFU's or square feet of impervious property.
