Interior Bus Advertising

The Jule has interior ad space in all 16 fixed route buses.

  • Posters must be 11" x 17" landscape or 8.5" x 11" portrait
  • Heavy cardstock is recommended to ensure the ad remains intact for the display period
  • The advertiser is responsible for the design and printing of posters. Please print 16 posters to accommodate all available fixed route buses.

Exterior Bus Advertising

The Jule’s exterior bus advertising program provides extensive coverage throughout the entire city, offering exposure to commuters, drivers, and pedestrians. All 16 buses are rotated along different routes, so an advertiser is never limited to a specific area of the community. The Jule has four types of vehicles: Two Light Duty styles (mini-bus), Medium/Heavy Duty, and Heavy Duty. Twenty different ad space options are available, making it easy to tailor your message to your needs!

Pricing

Bus ad pricing includes production and installation of the advertisement and the "rental" of the space for the term of the contract. Businesses choosing to advertise on multiple buses qualify for a multi-bus discount off the contract fee. (Contact us for details!) Non-profit organizations are eligible for a 25% discount on the base contract fee of exterior advertising, but are not eligible for the multi-bus discount. 

Contract Terms

Contracts are generally signed for one to two years, but shorter terms are available for short-term campaigns. 

All ad production and installation is completed by Houck Transit Advertising and was awarded through a competitive bidding process. All billing for production and installation is included through the contract with The Jule unless otherwise negotiated. 

Design

Advertisers are responsible for creating their ad design and may submit designs using the Adobe Illustrator templates provided below. Designs must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the contract start date to ensure sufficient time for review, production, and installation.

Collaborative Advertising  

You promote us and we'll promote you! The Jule offers a collaborative marketing program welcoming creative advertising ideas with community partners. For example, a coffee shop could create a Jule inspired drink and The Jule would offer one month of free interior bus advertising in return. Contact The Jule if your organization has a product or service it would like to co-promote.
