[ARCHIVED] All Recreational Equipment Within City Parks - CLOSED until at least Monday, May 4th

Please see information below pertaining to the Leisure Services Departmental Impacts and Closures during the COVID-19 pandemic.


ALL recreational equipment within City parks are CLOSED for use until at least Monday, May 4th.  This closure includes playground structures, skate parks, dog parks, baseball and softball fields, as well as areas/courts used for basketball, horseshoes, tennis, volleyball and pickleball.

Also during this time, no reservations of team sport facilities or equipment will be taken.  Leisure Services sanctioned adult sports leagues taking place at these facilities for golf, softball and volleyball are delayed until at least Monday, May 4th.  

Dubuque parks are not yet officially open for the 2020 season so restrooms, water fountains and other amenities are not yet accessible to the public until at least Monday, May 4th.  Residents are welcome to visit parks and trails, but should practice physical/social distancing of at least six feet as instructed by the Centers for Disease Control and wash their hands as soon as possible after use.
