One lane of Peru Rd. and the intersection of Peru Rd. and Roosevelt St. will be closed for water main valve replacements from July 22-26. Read on for details and detour information.
The northbound lane of Peru Rd. will be closed, from just north of Toledo St. to and including the intersection of Roosevelt St., from 7 a.m. on Monday, July 22, until approx. 5 p.m. on Friday, July 26, for water main valve replacements and subsequent concrete replacement project. Access to businesses and residences will be maintained during this project. A temporary traffic signal will be in installed to alternate Peru Rd. traffic. Motorists should expect occasional delays. There will be no access to Roosevelt St. from Peru Rd. and vice versa. Roosevelt St. traffic will be detoured to Sheridan Rd., to Davis St., to Windsor Ave., and to Rhomberg Ave.
