[ARCHIVED] Family Scholarships Are Still Available

UPDATE:  Due to the State of Emergency regarding COVID-19, the Leisure Services Department and the Multicultural Family Center are closed through at least Sunday, April 12th, 2020.  You may turn in your Family Scholarship Application by mail to 2200 Bunker Hill Road, fax to us at 563-589-4391, email to us at or drop it off in the mail slot at the Leisure Services Department at 2200 Bunker Hill Road.  For questions or further information regarding Family Scholarships, please CALL the Leisure Services Department at 563-589-4263.

Family Scholarship applications are available at the Leisure Services Department or at the Multicultural Family Center.  Up to 150 qualifying low-income resident families may receive a scholarship.  Recipients will be given $125 in scholarship credits, which can be used towards full-price recreation classes, season swim passes (including discounted passes), pavilion rental or swimming pool rental, Eagle Point Park season pass (purchased at the Leisure Services Department) and Pet Park season pass.  PLEASE NOTE:  Online registration for family scholarship recipients is not available, but scholarship families may call in or stop by our office for Winter-Spring class registration.  Summer 2020 Activities brochures will be delivered to the Leisure Services Department during the day on Friday, March 27th.

All Family Scholarship applicants must reside within the City of Dubuque limits and family scholarships are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Limit one per family household.  Scholarship funds will expire on Tuesday, June 30th, 2020.
