[ARCHIVED] FREE Family Fishing Day at the Lower Bee Branch - Saturday, June 23rd

Join us for a FREE Family Fishing Day at the Lower Bee Branch! Each child will learn about fish, fish habitat and fishing techniques. All ages are invited!

Fish species found in the creek include bluegill, largemouth bass, northern pike and yellow perch.  Registration begins at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 23rd; event is from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon.

Participants are asked to meet at the basin overlook parking lot on 16th Street between Sycamore Street and Kerper Boulevard.  A limited number of fishing poles will be available, so please bring your own if you have one.  Participants 16 years of age or older will need a fishing license prior to the event.
