[ARCHIVED] Fall Festival at the Upper Bee Branch Amphitheater - Saturday, October 21st

The Leisure Services Department is hosting a free Fall Festival at the Bee Branch Creek Greenway on Saturday, October 21st, from 10:00 a.m. to noon.  This family friendly event will feature Halloween games, activities, and arts and crafts for all ages, including mini pumpkin decorating for the first 100 attendees. The Leisure Services Rec ‘n Roll activity trailer featuring giant foam blocks will also be on site.

At 11:00 a.m., tiny rubber ducks will take over the Bee Branch Creek for our first ever Rubber Duck Race!  Participation is free and 300 ducks will be available.  A number will be assigned to each duck and its owner (only one duck will be assigned per person).  Prizes will be available for the first five ducks to cross the finish line.  The duck that finishes first wins their choice of either a 2018 household season pool pass or a $135 gift card for Leisure Services programs.

Activities will be held at the Bee Branch Amphitheater, located at 533 Lincoln Avenue, near Audubon Elementary School.  In addition to on-street parking, event attendees may park in the public parking lot at the corner of East 22nd Street and Prince Street.

Any questions, please contact the Leisure Services Department at 563-589-4263 or Ben Alden at the Port of Dubuque Marina at 563-582-5524.
