[ARCHIVED] 2017 Doggie Dips at Nicholas J. Sutton and Flora Pools


Following the final day of public swimming, the family dog is invited to take a dip in Sutton and Flora Pools.  The $5 admission fee per dog includes access for immediate family members.  The Doggie Dip at Sutton Pool is scheduled for Saturday, August 12th.  The Doggie Dip at Flora Pool is scheduled for Saturday, August 26th.  There are no rain dates for these events.


The 2017 Doggie Dip Rules are as follows:


1.  Admission is allowed only in the designated weight groups and times as listed below - no exceptions.

2.  No one under the age of 10 is allowed admission into the pool or deck areas.  This is for safety of your children.

3.  Dogs MUST be on a leash at ALL TIMES until they are in the pool.  This includes pool deck and grass areas - no exceptions.

4.  Only one (1) dog per owner; owners must be 16 years of age or older.

5.  All dogs must be registered and current on vaccinations.  Upon entering, you will be required to sign consent.

6.  No aggressive behavior will be tolerated towards other dogs or owners.

7.  Water Playground and Water Slides are off limits.  Dogs may use diving board if they are able to safely swim.

8.  Owners are responsible for clean-ups that may be needed.


See below for times based on weight of dog(s):


Dogs under 30 lbs., 10:00-11:00 am

Dogs 31-60 lbs., 11:30 am-12:30 pm

Dogs 61 lbs. and larger, 1:00-2:00 pm
