[ARCHIVED] Fall Scholarships Available at the Leisure Services Department

The City of Dubuque Leisure Services Department is offering Fall 2017 Scholarships for low-income qualifying families living in Dubuque.


Up to 150 families will each be awarded $125 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funded scholarship "credits" which can be used towards programs and services offered through the Leisure Services Department.  The scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-servedbasis.  Families will have the option to use their "credits" to pay for general recreation programs, season pool passes, pavilion rentals, Eagle Point Park season passes, and other services provided through the Leisure Services registration system.


Application for this opportunity is easy - just complete and return the Income Verification Form, available at the Leisure Services Department at 2200 Bunker Hill Road, the City Clerk's Office in City Hall at 50 West 13th Street or the Multicultural Family Center in the Ruby Sutton Building located at 1157 Central Avenue.  Forms may also be downloaded at www.cityofdubuque.org/recreation.  Completed forms must be submitted in person* at the Leisure Services Department or the Multicultural Family Center to confirm the scholarship (*not accepting mail in, e-mail or drop-in mail slot).
