[ARCHIVED] Shooting Under Investigation

On June 18th, 2017, at 11:35 p.m., a Dubuque Police Officer on patrol heard multiple gunshots in the 1000 block of Wilson Street.

On June 18th, 2017, at 11:35 p.m., a Dubuque Police Officer on patrol heard multiple gunshots in the 1000 block of Wilson Street. At the same time, a 9-1-1 call was received reporting a shooting and man down outside of 1080 Wilson Street. Upon arrival officers located Cortez D. Robinson, 26, of Dubuque, on the ground in front of 1080 Wilson Street, suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper chest. Robinson was transported to Mercy Hospital and admitted for treatment. His injury is not believed to be life threatening. No arrest has been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
