[ARCHIVED] Death Investigation Underway

On March 31st, 2017, at 2:19 a.m., Dubuque Police & Fire personnel responded to 870 Kane Street on the report of a stabbing.

On March 31st, 2017, at 2:19 a.m., Dubuque Police & Fire personnel responded to 870 Kane Street on the report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive adult female inside the residence with injuries consistent with being stabbed. Paramedics declared the female dead at the scene. An adult male was also present at the residence. The female’s identity is not being released at this time pending family notification. The death investigation remains ongoing and additional information will likely be provided later today.
