[ARCHIVED] "MORNING AT THE MOVIES" WITH THE GIRL SCOUTS AND MINDFRAME THEATER - TUESDAY, JULY 29TH

On Tuesday, July 29th, the Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois are sponsoring a "Morning at the Movies". Please see below for additional information.


If you are interested in attending a FREE movie (Frozen) and enjoying some free popcorn and water, please arrive at 8:15 a.m. at either the Comiskey Park building located at 255 East 24th Street OR the Boys & Girls Club located at 1299 Locust Street on Tuesday, July 29th, to catch the bus to Mindframe Theater, located at 555 John F. Kennedy Road.

All children will be accompanied by Girl Scout Outreach Staff. Popcorn and water will be provided, however the concession stand will be open to purchase other items if the girls would like to bring money for those purchases.

At the conclusion of the movie, the girls and staff will ride the city bus back to the same bus stop location and return to their program site around 12:30 p.m.

In order to participate, permission slips must be signed by parent/guardian to attend. Permission slips are available at the following locations:

Leisure Services Department, 2200 Bunker Hill Road
Boys and Girls Club, 1299 Locust Street
City Hall, 50 West 13th Street
Comiskey Park Playground, 255 East 24th Street
Prescott School Playground, 1151 White Street
Multicultural Family Center, 1157 Central Avenue
