[ARCHIVED] Dubuque Police Investigating Shots Fired

On April 2nd, 2014, at 10:13 p.m., Dubuque Police responded to the area of 15th & Jackson Street on the report of shots fired. This was unconfirmed as officers were unable to locate evidence supporting the report.

On April 2nd, 2014, at 10:13 p.m., Dubuque Police responded to the area of 15th & Jackson Street on the report of shots fired. This was unconfirmed as officers were unable to locate evidence supporting the report. Four minutes later, officers were dispatched to the area of Henion and Pickett Streets for another report of shots fired. This report was confirmed as officers located both physical evidence and witnesses indicating shots had in fact been fired. The scene was processed and additional evidence was gathered, generating multiple leads. Investigators are in the process of following up on these leads and developing new leads as the investigation progresses. No injuries have been reported to police and no additional information is available for release at this time.
