[ARCHIVED] Arrest Made in Connection to E. 22nd St. Meth Lab Investigation

The Dubuque Drug Task Force has made three arrests following an investigation conducted at 518 E. 22nd St. into possible methamphetamine manufacturing.

On Friday July 12th, 2013 at 11:23AM the Dubuque Drug Task Force, Iowa Department of Narcotics Enforcement, Dubuque Police Department and Dubuque Fire Department executed a search warrant at 518 #2 East 22nd Street, Dubuque. During the execution of the search warrant investigators located items used during the manufacture of methamphetamine via the red phosphorous and one-pot methods. The resident identified as Jonnie R. Connolly (11/05/93) was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine pre-cursors with intent to manufacture and allowing a drug house.

Also located in the residence were Randy A. Hentgen (12/15/81) and Joshua L. Tiesman (06/01/79). Both Hentgen and Tiesman were charged with Possession of Methamphetamine pre-cursors with intent to manufacture.

Possession of pre-cursors with intent to manufacture and allowing a drug house are both class “D” felonies punishable by up to 5 years in prison with a fine of at least $750.00 but not more than $7500.00.

Connolly, Hentgen and Tiesman were all arrested and transported to the Dubuque County Jail where they will await a court appearance.

Additional charges are pending further investigation

As with any criminal case, the charges filed are allegations and any suspect(s) charged are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law.
