[ARCHIVED] Southbound Lane of US 52/61/151 Detour Planned for Wednesday Night

The Iowa Department of Transportation plans to remove a portion of the barrier wall and perform concrete work on its U.S. 52/61/151 project Wednesday night.

The Iowa Department of Transportation plans to remove a portion of the barrier wall and perform concrete work on its U.S. 52/61/151 project Wednesday night.
The nighttime work will require the southbound lane of US 52/61/151 to be detoured from 9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, to approximately 6 a.m. on Thursday, June 13. Motorists are encouraged to use caution in the area of temporary traffic control and follow the detour route.
This Iowa DOT project includes reconstruction of U.S. 52/61/151 from the Grandview interchange to the U.S. 52 intersection, the replacement of both existing bridges spanning Catfish Creek, installation of a median barrier, and improvements at the U.S. 52 intersection with U.S. 61/151.
