On May, 9th, 2013, at 12:35 p.m., the Dubuque Drug Task Force, Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office, Department of Narcotics Enforcement, Homeland Security, Immigration Customs Enforcement, and Dubuque Police Department executed search warrants at The Asian Massage Parlor located at 1464 Central Avenue, Asian Nails at 1476 Central Avenue, multiple apartments at 1460 Central Avenue, and 2580 Pearl Street – all in Dubuque. The search warrants were the result of an extensive investigation pertaining to the Asian Massage Parlor.

As a result of the investigation, prostitution charges were filed against Yhan Wang, 53, of 1460 Central Avenue #6. The investigation remains ongoing and additional charges could be forthcoming.

Prostitution is an aggravated misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment not to exceed 2 years and a fine between $625 and $6,250.

As with any criminal case, the charges filed are allegations and any suspect(s) charged are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law.
