The Leisure Services Department announces the 2010 Fall Slow Pitch Softball evening leagues at the McAleece Park and Recreation Complex for men’s and women’s leagues on the following evenings:
• Tuesday evenings beginning August 24th/31st or September 7th
• Thursday evenings beginning August 19th/26th or September 2nd
Mixed leagues are offered on the following evenings:
• Monday/Wednesday evenings beginning Monday, August 23rd and ending Wednesday, September 15th (will not play Labor Day, September 6th)
• Tuesday evenings beginning on August 24th/31st or September 7th
• Thursday evenings beginning on August 19th/26th or September 2nd
Teams will play seven games; all leagues are 2 home-run limit. Entry fee is $233.00. All nonresident player fees paid for summer 2010 will carryover for fall league, if not a $13.00 per non-resident player fee.
Registration materials may be obtained online at www.cityofdubuque.org; select city services; select recreation, select adult athletics; select registration materials; send our department an email at parkrec@cityofdubuque.org and request forms to be mailed/emailed to you; call our office at 563.589.4263 and request a set of registration materials to be faxed, emailed or mailed to you OR stop and pick up a set of materials at the Leisure Services Department office, 2200 Bunker Hill Road or at the McAleece Park and Recreation Complex, 1801 Admiral Sheehy Drive. Registration deadline is August 6th! (We will be accepting late team registrations based on space availability.....)
