Street Detours & Closures

[ARCHIVED] Locust St. Closure from 4th St. to 15th St.

Dubuque's annual Halloween Parade begins at 7 p.m. this Saturday, October 18. The parade will begin at Washington Park, move north along Locust St., ending at 15th St.

Due to the parade, the following streets along and near the parade route will be closed beginning at 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Saturday, October 18:

- Locust St. from W. 4th St. to W. 16th St.

- W. 5th St. from Bluff St. to Main St.

- W. 6th St. from Bluff St. to Locust St.

- W. 7th St. from Bluff St. to Locust St.

- W. 15th St. from Locust St. to Iowa St.

- Main St. from W. 15th St. to W. 17th St.


Parking will not be allowed on the impacted streets beginning at 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 18, until after the streets have reopened to traffic following the conclusion of the parade.


In addition, Main St. remains closed from its intersection with W. 5th St. approximately one block north to the edge of the 500 Main St. property due to ongoing construction.


Motorists should avoid the parade area or seek an alternate route during these times.
