[ARCHIVED] Free Low-Impact Development Workshop Offered in Dubuque

Dubuque County Watersheds, in collaboration with the City of Dubuque, is offering a free Low-Impact Development Workshop in Dubuque March 12-13, 2025.

Land development and construction come with challenges, from managing stormwater runoff to navigating complex permitting processes. This workshop is designed to provide contractors, engineers, municipal staff, and developers with practical knowledge and tools to minimize environmental impact while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Wednesday, March 12, 12:30 - 5 p.m.: Contractor Workshop

Contractors, site managers, developers, and anyone involved in land preparation and construction will benefit from this hands-on session. Learn practical strategies to prevent erosion, manage stormwater onsite, and comply with regulations without breaking the budget.

  • Understand the MS4 and Clean Water Act Regulations

Thursday, March 13, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.: Design Symposium
