The Leisure Services Department, along with the DNR and Theisen’s, announces the annual Kids’ Fishing Clinic and Derby is scheduled for Saturday, June 26th. It will be held at Miller Riverview Park on Chaplain Schmitt Memorial Island.
The event is planned for ages 5 through 14. Registration is at 9:00 a.m., followed by the clinic and derby.
Each participant receives instruction, free literature and assorted fishing equipment, an opportunity to fish for prizes and a chance to receive prizes in drawings. There is no charge to participate in this activity.
