The Leisure Services Department is offering an Introduction to Water Skiing class at The Dubuque Water Ski Club located on the Peosta Channel side of Schmitt Island (adjacent to the Mystique Casino) on Saturday, August 7th from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. (full class) OR 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. (openings remain in the 2:30 p.m. session)
People of all abilities are welcome, including people who have never skied, as well as advanced skiers. Refreshments provided. In addition to skiing, we will promote water safety and boating safety.
Children, minimum age of 8, and comfortable in the water wearing a life jacket. Please bring a life jacket if possible; a limited supply of life jackets will be available. Ski equipment is supplied.
Class registration fee is $11. Pre-registration is required at the Leisure Services Department, 2200 Bunker Hill Road or online at http://dbqparkrec.recware.com.
