The Kerper Ct. and Kerper Blvd. Intersection Improvement Project will begin on Monday, Aug. 21. The project includes the construction of a two-lane roundabout along with underground utilities, ADA ramps, and street lighting.
The Kerper Ct. and Kerper Blvd. Intersection Improvement Project will begin on Monday, Aug. 21. The project includes the construction of a two-lane roundabout along with underground utilities, ADA ramps, and street lighting.
During construction, Kerper Ct. will be completely closed at the intersection of Kerper Blvd. All traffic traveling to and from Kerper Ct. will be detoured on a temporary roadway that as been constructed between E. 16th St. and Kerper Ct. Kerper Blvd. will remain open to northbound and southbound traffic throughout construction.

The roundabout will be constructed in two phases:
- Phase 1 begins Monday, Aug. 21, and includes the construction of the west side of the roundabout. Traffic will be detoured to E. 16th St. to use the temporary roadway to access Kerper Ct.
- Phase 2 will be construction of the east side of the roundabout. Phase 2 is expected to begin early October. The temporary road will still be in use. However, the option to exit from Kerper Ct. at Kerper Blvd. will also be available.
The roundabout is estimated to open to normal traffic beginning in early November 2023.
