Special Population programs provide sports/recreation/leisure/outreach services to people with physical/mental/emotional disabilities. Our goal is for participants to engage in activities that promote socialization, skill development & physical activity.
See below for upcoming Winter - Spring Special Population activities. Participants must register in advance to program start date, except for Valentine Dance* which fee is payable at the site.
Unified Basketball League* on Tuesday evenings through February 26th (no program on February 12th) *NOTE: Due to the upcoming weather on Tuesday, January 29th, Unified BB will be canceled for the night.
Intro To Snow Sports on Sunday, February 3rd (NOTE: Class information listed in Fall 2018 brochure.)
Cooking Class on Thursday, February 7th
Valentine Dance on Friday, February 8th. *A $5 fee payable at the door (Roosevelt Middle School, 2001 Radford Road).
Happy Hour on Thursday, February 21st
Bowling League on Sunday afternoons starting March 3rd through March 31st
Unified Indoor Soccer / Kickball on Tuesday evenings starting March 5th through April 16th (no program on March 26th)
Cooking Class on Thursday, March 7th
BINGO & Banana Splits on Thursday, March 14th
