Leisure Services attempts to provide activities for mentally/physically challenged members of the community. Recreational experiences may include physical/social/creative activities, as well as, special events designed specifically for this population.
In addition, the Leisure Services Department encourages all community members that may have a disability to participate in programs, and all attempts shall be made to accommodate the individual. If you are interested in registering for any of our programs, you may register online at www.cityofdubuque.org/recreation. (NOTE: A small convenience fee is charged by the hosting company. UNIFIED BASKETBALL at Audubon Elementary School on Tuesday evenings beginning February 7th through March 21st.
LORAS BASKETBALL GAME at the Loras College Athletic Wellness Center on Saturday, February 11th.
COOKING CLASS SERIES at Hy-Vee on Locust Street on the following Wednesday evenings: February 15th, March 15th and April 12th.
HAPPY HOUR at the Bunker Hill Clubhouse on Thursday, February 23rd.
CRAFT NIGHT at the Bunker Hill Clubhouse on Thursday, March 23rd.
UNIFIED INDOOR SOCCER / KICKBALL at Audubon Elementary School on Tuesday evenings from March 28th through May 9th.
EXPLORING DOWNTOWN (ride on the 4th Street Elevator) on Saturday, April 22nd.
