Leisure Services attempts to provide activities for mentally/physically challenged members of the community. Recreational experiences may include physical/social/creative activities, as well as, special events designed specifically for this population.
In addition, the Leisure Services Department encourages all community members that may have a disability to participate in programs, and all attempts shall be made to accommodate the individual.
If you are interested in registering for any of our programs, you may register online at www.cityofdubuque.org/recreation. (NOTE: A small convenience fee is charged by the hosting company. Unified Sports Night on Tuesdays between the dates of September 13th and October 18th.
Mini Golf on September 17th.
Sky Tours Zipline on Saturday, September 24th.
Fall/Winter Cooking Series on the following Wednesdays: October 5th, November 2nd and December 7th.
Candle-Ready Cakes on Sunday, October 23rd.
Unified Volleyball League on Tuesdays between the dates of October 25th and November 29th.
Halloween Costume Party on Friday, October 28th.
Winter Wonderland Dance on Thursday, December 8th.
