The Leisure Services Department announces the 2012 Fall Slow Pitch Softball evening leagues at the McAleece Park and Recreation Complex. Register your team by Monday, Aug. 13.
The Leisure Services Department announces the 2012 Fall Slow Pitch Softball evening leagues at the McAleece Park and Recreation Complex for men’s and women’s leagues on the following evenings:
• Tuesday evenings beginning August 21st/28th or September 4th
• Thursday evenings beginning August 16th/23rd or August 30th
Mixed leagues are offered on the following evenings:
• Monday/Wednesday evenings beginning Monday, August 20th and ending Wednesday, September 12th (will not play Labor Day, September 3rd)
• Tuesday evenings beginning on August 21st/28th or September 4th
• Thursday evenings beginning on August 16th/23rd or August 30th
Teams will play seven games; all leagues are 2 home-run limit. Entry fee is $250.00. All nonresident player fees paid for summer 2012 will carry-over for fall league, if not a $13.00 per nonresident player fee.
Registration materials may be obtained online at www.cityofdubuque.org/adultathletics; select Team Registration Materials; send our department an email at parkrec@cityofdubuque.org and request forms to be mailed/emailed to you; call our office at 563.589.4263 and request a set of registration materials to be faxed, emailed or mailed to you OR stop and pick up a set of materials at the Leisure Services Department office, 2200 Bunker Hill Road or at the McAleece Park and Recreation Complex, 1801 Admiral Sheehy Drive.
DEADLINE TO REGISTER FOR FALL SOFTBALL LEAGUES WAS FRIDAY, AUGUST 3RD. WE WILL ACCEPT LATE TEAMS ON A LEAGUE OPENING FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVE BASIS THROUGH MONDAY, AUGUST 13TH AT 5:00 P.M.
