Zoning Map

The zoning map is a map delineating the boundaries of zoning districts which, along with the zoning text, is officially adopted by the City Council and is on file in the office of the Planning Services Department.  When the City Council approves a rezoning, the zoning map is amended to reflect the change in zoning.

The Planning Services Department maintains the Official Zoning Map.  Updates typically occur monthly.  This posted map is not intended to cover every update of City zoning regulations, and should not be considered the final or definitive authority on any of the properties in the city of Dubuque.  It is only a general guide.  For specific zoning regulations pertinent to your project or property, contact the Planning Services Department for assistance and additional information.
