Small businesses may be looking for a leg up with starting or expanding their operations.  The NICC Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) provide free, confidential, customized business advice to existing businesses and start-ups in the Dubuque area. They also present affordable workshops that teach practical skills and techniques, conduct research, provide comprehensive information services, and offer access to subject matter experts in a variety of fields.

 

This organization is the only nationally-accredited entrepreneurial development program in Iowa. They are an accredited affiliate of America’s SBDC, the national Small Business Development Center program. These programs and activities have contributed significantly to economic growth in Dubuque.
