Dubuque Regional Airport Commission Public Improvement Project

Sealed bids for the work comprising the improvement as stated below must be received before 2:00 p.m. (local time), January 16, 2025, in the Office of the Airport Director. Sealed bids will be publicly opened, read aloud, and tabulated for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all work necessary for the Dubuque Regional Airport: Terminal Exit Lane Improvements
Project will include, but is not limited to:
Renovation of vestibule 124B to install a Record-USA “FlipFlow” Airport Exit Lane Breach Control at DBQ, including all labor and materials required for preparation of vestibule to install the Lane Breach Control device; all labor and materials required to rework fire sprinkler system; all labor and materials to rework electrical, data, access control, and video surveillance cameras in the area. The Engineer’s opinion of probable construction cost is $300,000.

There is no cost to the bidder for utilizing the DFS service. Plans and specs are available at the Dubuque Regional Airport, 11000 Airport Rd, Dubuque IA 52003. The Contract Documents are also available on the City of Dubuque website at www.cityofdubuque.org/bids.aspx. No plan deposit is required.

Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the amount of ten (10) percent of the total amount of the bid. The bid guaranty may be by cashier’s check, certified check or bid bond made payable to: Dubuque Regional Airport.
Bids may be held by the Dubuque Regional Airport Commission for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract. The Dubuque Regional Airport Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities or minor irregularities or to re-advertise for bids.
This project is subject to the requirements of Iowa Code Section 19B.7 and 541 Iowa Administrative Code Chapter 4. The Owner has established a TSB contract goal of 0 percent participation for Targeted Small Business concerns.
Award of contract is subject to all Iowa Department of Transportation Provisions as more fully defined in the bid documents.
