PEG Access Channels

PEG access channels (Public, Educational, and Governmental) give communities a voice. These channels provide a platform for public expression, educational content, and local government transparency.

The Dubuque community has five PEG channels that are available on cable television systems:

Public Access Channel

Dubuque Public Access (Mediacom channel 81 or digital 117.4), managed by the City.

Educational Access Channels

Dubuque Community Schools Television (Mediacom channel 16 or digital 117.6), operated by the Dubuque Community School District.
The Source (Mediacom channel 15 or digital 117.5 and ImOn channel 711), operated by Loras College.

Governmental Access Channels

CityChannel Dubuque (Mediacom channel 8 or digital 117.2 and ImOn channel 5), operated by the City.
CityChannel Graphics (Mediacom channel 80 or digital 117.3 and ImOn channel 6), operated by the City.

Contribute Content  

The Dubuque Public Access channel accepts video programming created by members of the public and community organizations. Examples of public programming include narrative fiction, documentaries, local talk shows, and church services.

Before your show can air on Dubuque Public Access, you'll need to review our Policy and Procedure Guidelines and complete the Program Provider Agreement. Once you submit the agreement, you’ll be redirected to a page where you can upload your video.
