Find Your Ward and City Council Representative

Search your address to find your ward and City Council representative using this interactive City Council wards map.  The mayor and at-large members represent the whole city, rather than a particular ward.

Please note:  By Iowa state law, county auditors serve as commissioners of elections. For information on voter registration, polling/voting locations, precincts, running for City Council, and all other election information, please contact the Dubuque County Elections Office at 563.589.4457 or visit their webpage. City ward maps should not be used for voting information.

Council-Manager Form of Government

Dubuque operates under the council-manager form of local government, which combines the political leadership of elected officials in the form of a city council, with the managerial experience of an appointed local government manager, the city manager.
