Highway 161/61 Traffic Enforcement Project

On 09/17/19, the Dubuque Police Department and the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Department conducted a joint traffic enforcement project on Highways 151 and 61 west of Dubuque. The project focused on interrupting the trafficking of drugs into and through Dubuque by utilizing both department’s K-9 units in conjunction with enforcing traffic violations along both highways.
