Applicants Sought for Dubuque’s Third Ward City Council Vacancy

DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Dubuque City Council is accepting applications from Dubuque’s third ward residents interested in filling the City Council vacancy created by the resignation of Third Ward Representative Kate Larson.

Candidates will be considered for appointment at the Monday, Sept. 16, 2019, City Council meeting.  This appointment will be until the next regular election which will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019. Third ward residents interested in being considered for appointment must submit a letter of interest and/or resume to the City Clerk’s Office by 5:00 p.m., on Friday, Sept. 13, 2019.  The appointment will be made at the Monday, Sept. 16, 2019, City Council meeting.
