On Thursday July 25 just before 4pm the Dubuque Fire Department responded to a report of a possible structure fire at 1029 White Street


Fire crews arrived in two minutes and discovered a small fire in an occupied apartment. Occupants had partially extinguished the fire. The cause of the small fire is being investigated by the fire department. Occupants are being evaluated for smoke inhalation, and one cat was found dead in the apartment.
