Explore Plants at the Lower Bee Branch

Did you know you can eat many different parts of a plant?


Kids ages 6 - 12 are invited to Tops and Bottoms at the Lower Bee Branch Creek this Wednesday, July 17, at 9 a.m. They'll explore roots, leaves, flowers, and seeds, plus do a little tasting! 

Register online or in person at the Leisure Services Office, 2200 Bunker Hill Rd. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

This program is offered as part of the Bee Branch Watershed Beekeepers initiative, which promotes respect for our environment by educating the community about the connection between behavior and water quality. Our focus is on watershed health and safety, pollution prevention, fostering good habits and responsible behavior, and cultivating an appreciation for and a connection to our natural resources.
