Portions of Dubuque Impacted by Storm

DUBUQUE, Iowa – City of Dubuque staff are responding to the severe storm that produced strong winds and heavy rain in Dubuque this evening. It resulted in downed power lines and tree damage throughout the city. City crews are clearing limbs and trees from roadways. Alliant Energy staff has been notified and is responding to areas where power wires are involved. Alliant Energy is reporting sporadic power outages in Dubuque County.

Residents are reminded to avoid downed power lines and to drive with caution in areas where downed trees are being removed.
