Roads closed downtown due to gas. 

At 3:15 pm the Dubuque Fire Department was dispatched to 2186 Central Ave for a report of a gas line struck by Blackhills Energy while working in the area.  Fire crews on scene had gas readings inside of Knickers Saloon.  Knickers, along with other businesses in the immediate area have been evacuated.  Blackhills Energy crews are on scene currently working to stop the leak. 

Dubuque Police Department currently have Central Avenue closed from 21st Street - 23rd Street and White Street closed from 21st Street - 22nd Street.  Please find alternate routes until further notice.
