City of Dubuque Independence Day Holiday Schedule

DUBUQUE, Iowa – City of Dubuque offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4, for the Independence Day holiday. This includes City Hall and other City offices throughout the city. There will be no trash, yard debris, or curbside recycling collection by City crews on July 4. Those collections will be made instead on Saturday, July 6.
- The Jule Transit will not operate any routes, including Nightrider, on Thursday, July 4.
- On Wednesday, July 3, Flora Pool will operate on a normal morning schedule and will have open swim from 1-5 p.m. There will be no evening water walking, lessons, or open swim. On July 3, Sutton Pool will operate on a normal morning schedule and will have FREE open swim from 1-3 p.m. There will be no evening water walking, lessons, or open swim.
- On Thursday, July 4, both Flora and Sutton pools will have water walking from 12-1 p.m. and open swim from 1-5 p.m. There will be no morning or evening water walking or swimming lessons at either pool on July 4.
- Bunker Hill Golf Course will be open and hosting special events during the week of Independence Day; please call 563-589-4261 for details.
- The Multicultural Family Center will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, and will be closed Thursday, July 4.
- The Dubuque Metropolitan Area Solid Waste Agency Landfill will be closed on Thursday, July 4.
For non-emergency issues during City office closures, please call 589-4415. In the case of an emergency, call 911.
