Dubuque Airport to offer TSA Precheck Sign-up

Dubuque, IA - The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will offer a temporary enrollment center for TSA Pre?® enrollment at the Dubuque Regional Airport (DBQ). Individuals may apply for TSA Pre-check at DBQ from Monday, June 24, 2019 through Friday, June 28, 2019.

The temporary application center will be located at Airline Ticket Office #2, next to American Airlines ticket counter in the Dubuque Regional Airport Terminal Building at 10965 Aviation Drive, Dubuque, Iowa 52003. 

Pre-enrollment appointments for the DBQ application center is recommended. You can pre-enroll and make an appointment at  https://identogo.com/precheck. 

Appointment hours will be Monday – Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and on Friday from 7 a.m. – 11 a.m. and from 12:00 p.m. to 4 p.m.  Walk up appointments will be taken on first come, first serve basis after those who have an appointment.

TSA Pre?® is an expedited screening program allowing members to leave on their shoes, light outerwear and belt in designated screening lanes. Members also may keep their laptop in its case and 3-1-1 compliant liquids/gels bag in a carry-on bag.

TSA Pre?® is available when flying domestically and when departing from a U.S. airport to a foreign country.  Applicants will need to provide fingerprints and proof of citizenship or legal residency and pay an $85 fee for a five-year membership. When approved, travelers will receive a "Known Traveler Number" to input when making airline reservations and can utilize TSA Pre?® lanes at select security checkpoints when traveling on any of the 54 participating airlines.
