Police Investigate Shots Fired

On 03/15/19 at approximately 8:27 PM the Dubuque Police Department received several reports of shots fired in the 2200 block of Jackson St. Officers responded to the area and determined the shots had been fired inside a residence located at 2233 ½ Jackson St. It was reported that there was a confrontation inside the residence which led to shots being fired by a suspect who fled the area prior to officers arriving on scene. No injuries have been reported and no arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
