Reception for Departing Economic Development Director on Thursday

The public is invited to attend a farewell reception for City of Dubuque Economic Development Director Maurice Jones from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Jan. 10, at the Multicultural Family Center, 1157 Central Ave.
Jones has was served as the City's economic development director since October 2013. He recently accepted a deputy city manager position with the City of Springfield, Mo., and his last day of employment with the City of Dubuque will be Friday, Jan. 11.
City Manager Mike Van Milligen recently named Jill Connors, the City's economic development project coordinator, as the next economic development director.
