Dubuque Hosting Ukrainian Delegation

DUBUQUE, Iowa – Dubuque will host a delegation of 18 Ukrainian local government officials visiting the area to learn more about regional economic development, historic preservation, tourism, and agricultural economies.

The group will arrive this weekend and meet on Monday with community representatives from the City of Dubuque, Travel Dubuque, Greater Dubuque Development Corporation, Dubuque Main Street, the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque, and the East Central Intergovernmental Association. Additionally, the delegation will receive a guided tour of the city highlighting current and past improvement projects.

The Ukrainian delegation’s visit to the US is hosted by the International City/County Management Association and funded by USAID.
