City Health Department Seeking Dogs Involved in Biting Incident

DUBUQUE, Iowa — The City of Dubuque Health Services Department is seeking information regarding two dogs involved in a biting incident that occurred on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at approximately 5:30 PM at the Hoover Elementary School Playground. They were described as two small white dogs. They were both wearing blue and white rope leashes but were not under the control of the female owner/keeper at the time of the incident. She took possession of the two dogs after the bites occurred.
The Health Department needs the public's assistance in finding these dogs to verify the dogs’ health status and vaccination history. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Health Services Department at 589-4185 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. or the Law Enforcement Center at 589-4415 after hours or on the weekend.
