Alliant Powerline Trail to Temporarily Close Monday, May 19MAY 15, 2025 The Alliant Powerline Trail will temporarily close on Monday, May 19, due to tree trimming. The closure will run the entire length of the trail, from South Grandview Ave. to Julien Dubuque Dr. A tree service contracted by Alliant Energy will be performing tree trimming work along the trail on Monday to ensure clearance from electrical lines. The work is expected to be completed on Monday, though some clean-up may continue into Tuesday, May 20, though the trail will be open and passable on Tuesday. # # #
