Holiday Schedule for City of Dubuque Services

DECEMBER 19, 2024

City of Dubuque offices will be closed on Tuesday, Dec. 24, and Wednesday, Dec. 25, for the Christmas holiday and on Tuesday, Dec. 31, and Wednesday, Jan. 1, for the New Year holiday. This includes City Hall and other City offices and facilities.

There will be no curbside trash and recycling collections on Wednesday, Dec. 25, or Wednesday, Jan. 1. Usual Wednesday collections will be made on the following Saturdays, Dec. 28, and Jan. 4.

Dubuque Metropolitan Area Solid Waste Agency facilities will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 25, and Wednesday, Jan. 1.

The Jule will not operate on Tuesday, Dec. 24, Wednesday, Dec. 25, Tuesday, Dec. 31, or Wednesday, Jan. 1. Parking meter violations will not be enforced on these days either.  

The Intermodal Transportation Center will be closed on Tuesday, Dec. 24, Wednesday, Dec. 25, Tuesday, Dec. 31, and Wednesday, Jan. 1.

The Carnegie-Stout Public Library will be closed on Tuesday, Dec. 24, Wednesday, Dec. 25, Tuesday, Dec. 31, and Wednesday, Jan. 1.

For non-emergency issues during City office closures, please call 563-589-4415. In the case of an emergency, always call 9-1-1.
