U.S. Highways 61/151 to Close at South Grandview Avenue Sunday Night for Beam Setting

Due to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s ongoing South Grandview Bridge Replacement Project, U.S. Highways 61/151 will be fully closed to traffic beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22, until approximately 6 a.m. the following morning. This closure will allow crews to complete beam setting for the new bridge deck.

Both northbound and southbound traffic will be detoured around the closure using the highway’s exit and entrance ramps.

Please note that closure dates and times are estimates and subject to change without notice based on weather and contractor schedules.
