City Hosting B2E2 Project Public Information Meeting on Aug. 20
The City of Dubuque is hosting a public information meeting about the Building Bridges to Employment & Equity (B2E2) Project from 5 - 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20, at the Jule Operations & Training Center, 949 Kerper Blvd. During the open house meeting, the project consultant and City staff will share information and answer questions. Stop by anytime between 5 - 7 p.m. to learn more and provide input on the following proposed improvements and more:
- A vehicular/pedestrian overpass at the 14th St. railroad crossing
- Roundabout at 16th St. and Sycamore St.
- Roundabout at 16th St. / Greyhound Park Rd. / Admiral Sheehy Dr.
- Elm St. corridor complete streets improvements
- 16th St. complete streets improvements including installing sidewalks and enhanced crosswalks at the 16th St. and Kerper Blvd. intersection
- Bridge sidewalk modifications to the Peosta Channel Bridge, including a pedestrian and bike shared-use path
