Conceptual Plans Unveiled for Three New Neighborhood Parks, Residents Invited to Provide Input

The City of Dubuque is excited to announce the release of conceptual plans for Eagle Valley, English Ridge, and Westbrook neighborhood parks. All three parks are scheduled for construction in 2024. The community is invited to review the park concepts and provide input on the proposed layouts, features, and equipment.

"We believe in the power of community collaboration, and we want to ensure that the park concepts reflect the desires of the immediate neighborhoods they serve and the entire community," said City of Dubuque Park Division Manager Steve Fehsal. "This is an exciting opportunity for residents to actively contribute to the development of three new neighborhood parks."

The conceptual park plans and a short online survey for each park are available at www.cityofdubuque.org/planyourpark. The surveys will be open until noon on Friday, Feb. 2. 

In late 2023, the City gathered input from neighborhood residents and the community through an online survey, mailed paper surveys, and in-person events held at each park site. The conceptual park plans reflect the input that was received during the first phase of community engagement.
